GeoPlace was seeking to invest in their people’s development at all levels, from Director to Graduate. They had worked with another coaching company previously, who could only provide career coaching and they wanted to broaden the offer, because their true challenge was a desire for hyper-personalised development, meeting individuals wherever they were on their professional development journey, rather than ‘one size fits all’ training programme. The development needs of ‘Head of’ level were vastly different compared to those of a Graduate.
Upwrd designed and delivered a bespoke coaching programme, which saw multiple coaches get matched with GeoPlace employees to deliver personalised one-to-one professional coaching sessions over a 6 month period. Coaches were matched according to the level of employee within the business, as well as the individual employee's goals for
coaching - some individuals wanted to focus on their career direction and ambition, whereas more experienced employees wanted to focus more on leading themselves and their people more effectively. Some GeoPlace employees took advantage of Upwrd’s diverse coaching pool, and worked on specialist topics such as Neurodiversity or Inclusive Leadership.
